Well, it wasn't much of a party but he was surrounded by lots of people that LOVE him! Our weekend was CRAZY to say the least- 10 soccer games (4 in Irmo, 4 in Charleston, 1 in Greenville and 1 in Lexington) plus a basketball game just to complicate things further. By the end of the weekend we were exhausted but as they say (I don't know who THEY are?) "The Party Must Go On"..... so we ended our very busy weekend with cake and presents. Whit got lots of goodies including cars, zoo animals, HOT WHEELS, play-dough and a MAGNA DOODLE that he later informed me that he was "Not really FOND of" (exact words). Mimi, Bepa and Kimmy came down for the day to help us celebrate and Gram and Grandpa provided the CARS cake. No magicians, clowns, pony rides, bounce houses or other over-the-top things that seem to be a prerequisite for most kids parties but in the end Whit still turned 4 and doesn't appear to feel too deprived!
