The weekend fun never ends around here. Carson's club team had a tournament in ALABAMA (yes- ALABAMA) so Kevin and Carson, Reese and Brett hit the highway and headed west. The kids were so excited 1. Because they missed a day of school and 2. They realized that ALABAMA is in a different time zone and this really got them excited (yes- our kids lead sheltered lives, they have spent their entire lives in the Eastern time zone!). Anyhoo, along the way Kevin tried to break up the 6 1/2 hour trip by stopping at TALLEDAGA MOTOR SPEEDWAY! Boy, Howdy what a day! They got to ride around the track in a tour bus and see all of the race cars on display. It was definitely a RED NECK day!
