Lately, Whit seems to forgo a nap most days so by late afternoon he is pretty "punchy". In order to calm him down and keep him from making another mess or destroying something I have been putting him in the tub. He likes lots of bubbles and buckets to play with and it usually keeps him occupied and under control for 20 minutes before the after school craziness begins.
