I Have Lost Control!!!

It is late July. It is HOT! I am tired! I have lost control! The inmates are DEFINITELY running the asylum! Yes! They are riding bikes in the house. I give up!!!

Hoopin'

Brett and Murphy LOVE to play basketball! Murphy wakes up in the morning and one of the first things he asks to do is "SHOOP" (meaning take me outside so I can shoot baskets). His form is a bit unique but he makes his share of baskets. Brett is currently working on his dunking trying to perfect his "throw down" move!

Boys Day at the Park

The little boys LOVE to go to 7 Oaks Park. It has 2 playgrounds, a walking path, a creek, baseball fields, soccer fields, football fields and thankfully, LOTS of shade which you need when it is north of 100 degrees everyday. They have fun despite the weather but I definitely prefer the park in the cooler months!

Sharing a Slushie

With the temperature hovering around 100 most afternoons, we have found ourselves at the SONIC 1/2 price slushies happy hour on more than 1 occasion. Not a bad deal when I can get 7 slushies for $2.57!

Paisley even enjoys them thanks to Murphy.

Family Beach Photos

One of our  my main objectives when we go to the beach is to get a decent family photo since it is one of the few times all year we seem to be at the same place at the same time. The photos are never perfect but the fact that we are all in one is good enough for me!
