Porcelain

Well, today we are celebrating our 18th/porcelain anniversary. When I joked with Kevin about this he asked if he should buy me a new toilet. Being the practical person that I am that would be the most sensible porcelain gift to buy me. However, I am not in need of a new toilet so I settled for the chocolate fudge he brought home from the mountains.

We look about the same now- right? Maybe just a few more wrinkles, gray hairs, fewer hairs or both and some extra pounds but other than that pretty much the same don't you think?

Evening Out the Tan

Paisley LOVES to take a nap in the sun. She always finds a sunny spot in the house or out in the yard and sunbaths. You would think she would look for a shady spot these days so she stays cool but no matter how hot it is you can always find her in the sun. I guess she wants to keep her tan looking good!

Family Baseball

Our 4th was uneventful but fun. We had some pool time, a cake, a cookout, a family baseball game that didn't end in crying, whining or hurt feelings (a first) and sparklers! We don't like to travel to see fireworks- way to much hassle. Lucky for us, our neighbors bombarded us with about an hour of their own pyrotechnics (Parker was not real happy about this- he did his best to find a safe place to hide).

Down on Main Street

We took a trip downtown to check out the new "Mast General Store" that opened up.

We also hit the downtown library because they have soooooo many more books than our tiny branch in Irmo. The best part was the candy aisle at Mast.  I have never spent $20 on candy so fast in my life!

Whenever I See Your Smiling Face....

I knew there was a HAPPY baby in there somewhere!

I haven't seen a lot of this lately but when I do I just want to eat him up!

EleFUN! Best Game Ever!!!

Just ask Murphy!

Every time we go upstairs Murphy drags the EleFUN game out of the closet. he thinks it is so funny when the butterflies fly out of the elephants trunk. He has even caught a butterfly or two. Unfortunately, the fun doesn't last long because Whit usually steals the trunk from us and pretends it is a hat!
