Only cooperating after threats

It is almost impossible to get a photo of Griffin. He is a stubborn TEENAGER who is way to COOL to pose for a picture. The only way to get him to cooperate is by threatening to take something away- usually his phone. The only time I can get multiple pictures of him is when he is playing a basketball game or tennis match because then he doesn't know I am taking them!

Peppermint Bark Candy

Every year we make Peppermint Bark candy for our teachers. The kids love to smash the candy canes up- I guess it is a good stress reliever! This year we made many batches since I think there are 22 teachers between all the kids- that's a lot of candy!

After we finished with Brett's party we took a little break before we celebrated an early Christmas with Mimi & Bepa since we won't get to see them over the holidays. As usual, they were very generous and everyone got lots of new goodies.

Hard to believe that Brett is almost 5!!! Boo-Hoo! I really don't like 5 because that means he only has a short time left being home with me before he enters the real world of elementary school and he is gone all day long! Luckily, he has 8 more months before we have to face that reality.
