Griffin has been hot and cold on tennis this season. He had decided to opt out and play AAU basketball instead. But, a week later, with some pleading from his coach and team mates he went back. He played 6 challenge matches in one day to re-gain his playing spot and suffered the consequences with some pretty serious blisters. He lost his 1st match in a 3rd set tie-break but has won all of his other matches so far. He seems to be having fun and enjoying being back with his team.

Murphy @ 11 months
Murphy has been busy this month making as much trouble as possible. He gets into EVERYTHING:
drawers
closets
pantry
fridge
cabinets
He loves to dump the contents of drawers and boxes.
He loves to get in the pantry and shake up the soda cans and roll them across the floor.
He likes to climb into drawers that are now empty because of him.
He likes to throw things in the fireplace (don't worry it is NOT on).
He likes to dump over the hamper full of clean, folded clothes.
He likes to get the pots and pans out and bang them around.
He likes to make a MESS!
So, I now have TWO trouble makers on my hands. I am definitely to old for this but what's a mom to do.
Thankfully he is cute and happy or he would be going back! (JK).
He still loves to eat and is on all table food except for two bottles a day (soon to be zero).
He LOVES balls and will roll them and throw them and chase them around all day.
He likes to be outside in the swing, car or crawling around on the ground.
He loves baths and goes crazy when you put him in the tub.
He spends far too much time in the car seat running the afternoon taxi service with me.
He can stand unsupported for a few seconds and he walks all over if he is holding on to something.
Hard to believe that in 30 days he will be ONE!

Time Out
Apparently, Whit had to go to the time out chair while I was at soccer.
There was a report that he bit Brett.
As you can see, he doesn't look too upset to be in timeout or very remorseful.
Ironic
Hadley proudly showing off her medal
Hadley played in her very first club soccer tournament and her team WON!
She might think this soccer thing is easy peasy if you can win a medal on your 1st try.
Meanwhile, Carson and Reese eat, breathe and live soccer
but neither has won a tournament with their respective teams.
We are hoping that this will inspire her to play more soccer and do less gymnastics!
Here's Hoping!
St Patty's Day Tournament
All 3 girls played in the St. Patty's Day soccer tournament this weekend. Carson and Reese played on their regular club teams and Hadley was asked to play on a U9 team that had a few injuries. It was a very LONG weekend with 13 games between Friday and Sunday. Thankfully, Mimi came to help since Pop and Griffin were out of town. We survived but I have definitely seen my fill of soccer for a few days.
One Shining Moment
And no, I am not referring to the NCAA basketball tournament
(the theme song on CBS is titled "One Shining Moment")
Instead I am referring to March 20
WHY?
Because it is the ONLY day in March that has nothing scheduled!
I am counting down the days so that I can sit and do nothing
NOTHING I SAY!
and I will LOVE every minute of it!
By the way,
This is how the rest of March looks:

MUDMAN
We have been dealing with rain and wind for a good part of the week so when it finally stopped we needed to get out of the house. Everything outside was still wet and mucky and it didn't take Murphy long to find a puddle and some good old MUD! Needless to say he did not attempt to circumvent either- Nope he headed straight for both.
Such a BOY!
