Carson's Kindergarten Photo

Kindergarten

OK, for some reason I could not put more than 5 photos on my last post so here is Carson's Kindergarten picture.

Here are Carson's lovely school photos through her elementary school years. Now it is off to middle school!

Blink of an Eye

Griffin then- 6th Grade (still a baby face!)
Griffin NOW! 8th Grade- Tennis and last day of school photo

In the blink of an eye my children are growing up! Please make them stop! I can't believe that Griffin is starting high school and Carson is starting middle school in the Fall. Not only are they growing up but I am growing OLD! They just don't stay little long enough. I can't believe the change in Griffin from the start of middle school to the end of middle school. He still looked like a little boy in 6th grade and now he definitely looks like a young man.

It is official- Carson's elementary school years are now behind her (boo-hoo). She will be moving on to middle school in the fall. I can't believe it! In the blink of an eye she has become a "big" girl. I know she will do great in middle school and beyond it just makes me a little sad that she is growing up so fast!

Hadley's swimming party

Hadley's class had a pool party to celebrate the end of school. It was controlled chaos but everyone had fun and Hadley loves to swim so it was a good time for her.

100 Book Club Celebration

Hadley and her friend Lynn

Hadley and Mrs. Anderson

Hadley's class had a celebration for reading 100 books over the course of the year. Her teacher presented them with a certificate and a new book. She actually read a lot more they just stopped counting at 100. She had such a great year and her teacher, Mrs Anderson, was awesome! Hadley is a very good student and stays very focused on her work while she is at school ( of course when she is at home it is a different story!). She is also very social and outgoing and I think she knows everyone at the school!

Splash Pad

Brett has been waiting for the Splash Pad at our YMCA to open. They have had a sign up for a few weeks announcing the opening date and he asked me every time we were in there if it was open yet. Finally we were able to go this week. The "big" kids were still in school so I just took Brett and Whit. Brett loved it but Whit was a little hesitant to get to close to the big water sprayers. Eventually he did get wet but most of the time he was wandering around trying to steal everyone else's snacks!
