Shake It Up Baby

Ice Cream Shaking Parade

We attempted to make homemade ice cream. I was skeptical that we would get any solid material but much to my surprise we actually got our milk, sugar and vanilla/chocolate to turn into ice cream (ok, it was more like slush but I will count it as a success). The kids said it tasted good but I don't think Ben & Jerry's have anything to worry about as far as competition is concerned.

What to Do When It Is 100+ degrees outside......

Go to the ZOO?!

It was HOT but we got there early so there was still plenty of shade. We saw all of our favorite animals and rode the merry-go-round and ate ice cream at 10:00 am! The best part was the misting fans- I need to get some of those for my driveway!

Edisto-part 2 (finale)

I promise these are the LAST beach pictures! It only took me an entire week to get them all posted. It is very HOT at home so it would be nice to be back at the beach but we will have to wait until next summer. BOO HOO!

JUMP!!!

The kids love to do this jumping pictures. It is definitely a challenge to get them all in the air at the same time. We probably took 100 photos to get these few where most of the participants are in the air. The girls have done this for the past 3 years so they think they are professionals and they tried to coach up the boys on technique.

Baby's 1st Beach Trip

Overall, Murphy had a successful introduction to the beach.
He splashed in the water.
He ate sand.
He dug holes.
He enjoyed the sand between his toes.
He loved the golf cart rides.
He found lots of seashells.
He had fun.
