Paisley is such a good dog. She has had her moments but over all she has turned out to be a good addition to our family. She tolerates all of the hugging, carrying, dressing up and other nonsense we put her through and her only vice at the moment seems to be eating Murphy's pacifiers. She loves "COOKIES" and will come running if you say the word- we are beginning to think she thinks that "COOKIE" is her name. She sits "PRETTY" and can dance and walk on her hind legs. She is also working on going through the agility course that Reese got for Christmas. She'll do anything for "COOKIES"!

Rare Occasion
This happens so infrequently that when Murphy started to scream instead of picking him up we got the camera to catch his tantrum on film. He is usually such a happy go lucky guy that this outburst was kind-of amusing to us- good parents HUH? Luckily, he got over it quickly and was back to his happy self in no time!
The root of the problem- someone else's juice cup.
He wanted it
they took it
he screamed
they gave it back
HAPPY
(nothing to do with anything but cute baby feet)
Trains and such
With the cold weather of late we have had to spend some quality time playing inside- not my favorite but it's in the job description under:
"MUST BE WILLING TO SPEND HOURS AT A TIME IMPERSONATING OTHERS"
(i.e. trains, monsters, action heros, damsels in distress, bad guys and anything else those in charge demand of you)
Oh the JOY!
Please SPRING hurry so we can run and play outside!!!!
CHEERIOS
Thank you to General Mills or the inventor of CHEERIOS! If I need to keep Murphy contained I can stick him in the highchair and throw some CHEERIOS at him and he is happy. To me they taste awful but he shoves them in his mouth at record speed. Of course, many find their way to the floor where the dogs clean them up for me- they circle like vultures whenever Murphy is in his highchair because they know something will be coming their way.
Typical Hadley
If anyone knows Hadley, they know that these pictures capture her personality. She is definitely SPUNKY. She is a WILD AND CRAZY GIRL. She would prefer to spend her life upside down and I think all that blood rushing to her head can have some adverse effects at times. When she is in a mood- watch out! She is LOUD (we actually call her LOUDLY at times) and out of control and STUBBORN! She likes to have the last word and of course, get her way. But most of the time she is happy and the life of the party. She keeps us hopping and challenges us as parents sometimes but I guess it would be boring if your kids were perfect angels all the time- RIGHT?
A Walk in the Park
It has been unseasonably cold lately so we have been inside more than usual. I finally needed to get the kids out of the house so we bundled up and took the dogs on a nice walk to the playground. The fresh air felt good but COLD and I will be soooooo happy when we can do this without all of the layers!

Murphy @ 9 months
Everything in the Mouth
Looking for the dogs water bowl to play in
Lots of standing and cruising around furniture
Murphy ALWAYS takes one sock off when he is in his seat
Typical Male- He needs the tv remote
Oh my Goodness! Murphy is 9 months old. He went for his check-up and I realized that at his next visit he will be ONE! How does time go by so quickly. He is still a big boy weighing almost 21 lbs. and almost 30 inches tall. He is very BUSY and crawls, stands, cruises, climbs steps and generally gets into a lot of stuff. He has even figured out how to escape from the exersaucer! Now I can only contain him in his crib or highchair- let's hope he can't get out of those for a while. He is still not a good sleeper, I would say he is rivaling Griffin and Carson for worst baby in this department but he is so darn happy when he is awake so it obviously doesn't bother him. I, on the other hand am not so cheerful without sleep. He is also at the point where he puts EVERYTHING in his mouth. I really don't like this stage because I have to watch him like a hawk which is sometimes hard to do with 6 other kids running around. He still likes food and is now able to eat most things. He LOVES balls and rolls them around on the floor and chases them. He also LOVES the dogs' water bowl so I have at least one puddle to clean up everyday. I fear that he is only going to get "busier" over the next few months and before I know it that baby is going to be running around with his brothers terrorizing all of us!

Paisley's favorite spot
Paisley LOVES to sit on the heating vent in the winter. She did this last year, too. I guess since she has a short coat she needs to find some way to get warm after her jaunts in the cold winter air.
Whit the Male Model
Carson's next victim- I mean subject- was Whitaker. She said that he was a little more "challenging" to work with than Brett (you know how temperamental those models can be) but despite his lack of cooperation she still manage to get some really cute pictures. I think I am going to start putting her in charge of family photography!
