We had a quiet Thanksgiving just hanging out at home. Thankfully, the weather was nice so we played outside a lot. We watched the Macy's parade and then went to the park before spending the afternoon at Gram and Grandpa's house.

Philharmonic
Sorry for my lack of blogs but my iphoto program had to be fixed so I was without photos for a few weeks and I don't like to blog w/o photos. Anyway, I will try to catch up. In early November kevin got free tickets to the philharmonic. needless to say i had no interest in going- too late! So he took Carson. She is taking a music class in school and they actually played a few pieces that her teacher had discussed in class. They went out to dinner before the concert and carson was able to get another wear out of her fancy dress form last Christmas.

Last soccer game
Carson
Carson and Reese played their last game on Saturday. They played their rivals the "Sharks" who they tied earlier in the year. The girls played so well and dominated the game and were able to come away with the victory finishing the season undefeated. Carson continued to dominate at midfield and on defense and Reese scored 2 of the three goals for the team.

Halloween
After a long day of soccer and gymnastics it was time for trick-or-treating. Honestly, I was ready for bed but we headed out the door despite my sleepiness. It was really warm so Hadley and Brett were sweating in their costumes but at least we didn't have to wear coats like we did when we lived in Asheville. Hey, even the dogs got in on the action. Whit did not want to put on his monkey suit but he loved handing out the candy with Poppy and saying hi to all the kids that came to the door. The monkey suit is pretty big so he can probably wear it next year. As you can see, Carson and Parker were my "angels", Reese and Paisley were my "devils, Hadley was a black cat and Brett was Wolverine. Griffin also opted out since the Gamecocks were playing but he is now helping himself to his sisters candy despite their protests. I guess that's what you do when your the oldest!
Floor Routine
I missed the first few moments of the floor routine b/c my camera wasn't cooperating but at least I got the back handspring at the end.

Vault video
I tried to take video of Hadley's routines. They aren't the best due to where I was sitting and a few technical difficulties with my equipment but you can get an idea of what she does.
Here we go again!
Check out the "BLUE" Elvis pants!
Well, it is meet season again for Hadley. She had her 1st meet on Halloween. Luckily, it was just a practice meet so no pressure but they did have to prepare for it like it was a regular meet. So, that meant we had to do the hair- not my strong area. Thankfully this year we only have to do 1 pony-tail instead of pigtails but Hadley's hair is much longer so I guess it actually took the same amount of time and the same amount of curlers plus a lot of "Instant Freeze" hair spray!
