Hadley's Carolina Classic meet

Hadley had another meet and got another gold medal! Only one meet to go for the season so that means we only have to do those curls one more time this year!

Here comes the SUN

We get lots of natural sunlight in our family room and the kids love to lay in the "sun spots" to get nice and warm. Parker seems to like it , too!

Food Coma

Here are some pics of Whit falling asleep in his highchair. I think we have a picture of each of the kids doing this as babies. Isn't he soooo cute-especially since he is asleep and not running around getting in to EVERYTHING!

The Mountains

I am a little behind with my updates due to a busy week filled with many appointments and activities. Last weekend Kevin took Carson, Reese, Hadley and Brett to Cashiers, NC for a couple of days at Gram & Grandpa's mountain house. They had a great time hiking swimming (inside-of course), playing putt-putt and going to the big playground in town. They had so much " fun" on the tire swings that Reese lost the contents of her stomach- hot cocoa and donuts! They were going to try a little skiing but there really wasn't enough snow so we will have to save that for another time.

Teepee construction

It was so nice over the weekend that we spent a lot of time outside. On Sunday the girls and Brett decided to build a teepee. They did a good job but it is a bit of a tight fit for all of them to get in at one time. Plus, it doesn't help when Whit decides to crawl in and start pulling it apart.

Griffin's season finale

Griffin's team lost in a heart-breaker in the semi-finals of the tournament. Griffin played very well and his team finished the season 12-4. He had a great season and had the chance to make a lot of new friends so it was a successful year. Now he is on to tennis.

Father-Daughter Dance

Friday night was the annual Father-Daughter Dance at the girls school. They always like to get dressed up and go hang out with their friends and listen to really loud tweenie-booper music. They usually hang with poppy long enough to find their friends and then they are off and running for the rest of the evening. Hadley is usually the last one to be found and the hardest to extract from the festivities. Afterwards, Kevin took them out for dessert at Fatz where they linked up with some friends for ice cream sundaes.

Hadley's latest gymnastics meet

Hadley had another meet over the weekend. Luckily, it was here in town so we did not have to go to far. She did great and finished in first place for all level 2 girls!
